Broadcast live on TV and enjoyed by a live audience of 2,500, Dubai’s 41st National Day Show told the legacy of the UAE like never before – featuring live theatre, the latest 3D projection and motion control techniques and multiple layers of live performance and special effects, perfectly synchronised to CGI animations in a breath-taking digitally mapped immersive environment.

HQWS created a seamless and authentic theatrical piece that connected with Emirati people on a very personal and emotional level. A story to educate, inspire and instill a true sense of pride in a modern and visually spectacular style. The show featured a cast of over 40 Emirati actors, each with meticulously scripted and rehearsed parts to play. Respected TV actors and children from each of the Emirates played starring roles, supported by cast of over 150 additional Emirati children and a variety of international performance artists.

In a classic curtain call, the entire cast came out for one last celebration as the event ended with a jaw-dropping time-coded pyrotechnics show.
