HQWS was commissioned by Abu Dhabi General Secretariat of the Executive Council to deliver the ceremony, PR and marketing campaign for the 2015 edition of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance.

The biennial event was established in 2006 to recognise and stimulate outstanding performance and encourage positive competition amongst Abu Dhabi government entities.

The concept for the 2015 event, as well as the PR and marketing campaign, was ‘Harmony’; symbolising the synergy and harmony found throughout Abu Dhabi government.

Harmonic waves ran through every single touch point like a thread, linking all government entities to ultimately rise to excellence.

More than 50 government entities competed for the awards, which were divided into three categories – entities, projects/teams and individuals.

Over 1500 guests attended the event at ADNEC including Royalty, Ministers, Senior Government Officials and government entity employees.

HQ’s responsibilities included creating and developing the 2015 event identity, conceptual and technical planning, designing and producing the TVC campaign, event film, outdoor, print, radio, digital, PR and social media campaigns, event branding, signage and printed collateral.
