HQWS were appointed by NEOM to provide a turnkey solution for the launch of the MENA regions latest and most advanced soundstage as part of the NEOM Media Village. With aspirations of becoming a destination for global film makers, NEOM Media understood the launch of the first production facility in NEOM carried with it a high risk and high impact message, and entrusted HQWS to carry the delivery of their newest endeavour to market.


A high impact arrival with over 1700 square meters of LED adorning a red carpet arrival encased the beginning of the guest journey into the facility, where they were treated to a performance themed around the global film industry with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra performing musical scores from epic moments in film. From Top Gun to The Dark Knight and more, the musiscal score was conducted over the top of bespoke content around Neom Medias strategy and objective interwoven with iconic film segments that kept guests truly engaged with the message that the team wished to carry to the audience… Our History Starts Now!


Following the main segment, guests were treated to a Gatsby themed after party in the pre-function space which had been through a rapid transformation while guests were already in the auditorium, offering a surprise moment of engagement and flair and cementing the impact of the evening in the mind of those attending. Following the launch, aerial imagery of the venue during the event evening were featured front page on the Hollywood Reporter stating “Neom Media – We are open for business!” providing definitive proof that events as a vehicle for messaging, especially when carried out to perfection are an exceptional method of communication.
