Working closely with the RTA, HQWS was entrusted with the historic launch event for the Dubai Metro. Meticulous planning, design and logistics management of this multi-venue event was the driving force behind its success.

The remarkable evening began at Mall of the Emirates where, in a custom designed presentation theatre, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and several hundred distinguished guests were invited to wear custom Porsche Design viewing glasses to enjoy a specially commissioned 3D film – the first ever in the region.

After a standing ovation, guests were escorted to Mall of the Emirates Metro Station for the official inauguration of the Red Line. The first ever train journey took passengers on a tour of six stations, where His Highness unveiled a series of legacy pieces and interactive exhibits created by HQWS to mark the occasion.
