The key objective of this inaugural Summer Festival was to provide a fun and educational programme of world class entertainment and activities, to attract and entertain residents and visitors of Abu Dhabi; predominantly 4-15 year olds and their families.

HQ transformed the venue into seven themed ‘Islands’, bursting with shows and activities for all the family, which included anchor international educational exhibitions and additional HQ designed edutainment interactives.

Live performance programmes included children’s theatre productions, circus shows, an ‘urban arena’ & puppet theatre.
