Recognising A Legacy

The birthplace of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahayn, Qasr al Muwaiji is a location not only of sentimental value, but of historical significance to the United Arab Emirates. Built in the early 1900’s in the oasis city of Al Ain, the structure was once used as a diwan and a place for the community to congregate.
What did we do?
What did we do?
Recognising the historic value of the fort, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority commissioned HQWS to design and build a permanent exhibition that would both respect the building's architecture, and tell the story of the fort and its inhabitants, with particular focus on HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
